Thanks to ACOT for these awesome Dream Street Papers!!!
This altered project is going to be both a gift box and a center piece for Christmas! I created it using two round paper mache boxes with removable lids. I stacked them on top of each other and then added a cute little winter scene to the top. I covered the small house with patterned paper and hand cut out the door and windows. The little trees and "faux" snow added just the perfect touch to create the winter scene! The little trees and "faux" snow added the perfect finishing touch to complete the winter scene! To create the ruffled edges I cut the paper strips and then lightly misted them with water before I folded them. If you hold them for a minute or so until they start to dry just a little, they will hold the ruffled shape well enough until you can adhere them in place. I used a hot glue gun to adhere everything in its place.
