Description

For this page I used the September montly challenge sketch. First I took the background cardstock and drew pencil lines where I wanted the two distressed borders to be. Taking advantage of the Coredinations cardstock, I placed the paper where I had drawn the pencil lines on the edge of my glass mat (and straight hard edge would work) and sanded along the edge to expose the colored center of the cardstock. Then I sanded the edges of all the papers and photos. Next I arranged the photos and papers to be evenly spaced and tacked them down with a little bit of adhesive in the center of each one. To create the cut-out circles, I traced two different sized round objects onto the page in pencil. Then I peeled the papers up and cut out the circles by hand along the pencil lines and lightly sanded the cut out parts. Next I stitched along all the edges. The large title circle proved a little difficult to stitch along and my stitching wasnt even close to a circle so I decided to go around it a bunch of times to make it more uniform. That was a happy mistake becuase I love how it turned out. Finally, I topped it off with the Jenni Bowlin letter stickers and the prima flower with the Making Memories brad.

Thanks to ACOT for the wonderful Graphic 45 and Coredinations papers!
