Description
This is my stove. Last week one of the questions was what kind of stove do you have; so I decided to make a layout about my stove as it is quite unique. The stove was in our house when we moved in back in 1982; it belonged to my husband's grandmother who owned the house before us. We think it was made between 1930-1940. It is a propane, gas, coal stove. We have to light a match to use the burners, oven and broiler. The door on the right is the stove, the door on the left is the coal burner (the photo on the far left shows the door to the coal burner open). At one time I thought it would be nice to get a new stove until I saw ours on an antique show and decided that this one is perfect for us and our house. This stove is older than me and I am sure it will still be working long after I'm gone.
