Description

Ninety-nine year-old Ella is old-school, I'm sure. She must have liberally powdered her nose so it wouldn't shine. However, she neglected to powder her neck and chest/throat area. As a result her face absorbed, rather than reflected the camera's flash. I fixed that, and a host of other over-flashed and minor poor picture facial flaws for this LO (click between the two versions to see the before/after corrections) made with a very cute kit called "Attitude" by Hot Flash Designs. TFL.

Notes: Software: PS7 for Teachers and Students

The BG is the PrintGraySunburst paper, inverted and used as an overlay on top of a purple color block layer.

Since I love plaids, I always look for a way to include one. I used a kit RandomStripe2 print paper (color adjusted and contrast adjusted) to make one, then used it for filling the title font (smaller version) and for filling the cute frame (from the elements pack).

I also re-colored the shoes element (each color separately, hand bag, and the ribbon bows.

I made my own journal mat (custom draw shape tool + a bunch of layer effects).

I noticed that both Ella and "Queen Mum" Mary (on my left in bottom group photo and in middle row far right photo) were wearing two-toned red and purple shoes that day, so that shoe element was particularly appropriate for this LO!
